Today is the First Day of a new life for Derek ... First Grade... SIGH... I never thought it would be so hard to send him to first Grade, but it's SO much longer than kindergarten, they actually eat lunch there, spend the whole day at school, and now his teacher will spend more time with him than I will on most days. He's seems so big and so small at the same time if that makes any sense at all. Derek was so excited for school this morning, he was up at 6:30 and was all ready with his backpack on by 7:00. When we got to his class he hurried in without hesitation (also without a hug or kiss.) Note to self : ALWAYS wear sunglasses on the first day of school that way when tears well up in your eyes when you are on your way out of the school and the principal wants to chat and you can't even muster a hello without giving it away that you are a first day of school crier, you can just wave Hello and act like you are in a hurry and hope he doesn't notice.

your flowers at your wedding were beautiful...it was really beautiful. i still remember them. i think i planned mine for 2 hours too :) we're twins.
That picture of your 3 boys is precious - they're all so stinkin' cute! And I love that you're a "first day of school crier". Wear the title proudly! :-)
