I was making an after school snack for the kids when Derek says
"Mom, como estas"
Me: No answer
Derek: "Seriously Mom, como estas."
Me: Muy bien y tu?
Derek: Asi Asi
I don't think I could have had that conversation until Junior High. He already knows how to count in Spanish, his colors in Spanish and some basic converstions, hmmm perhaps school is good for something!!

So good! Cute. And I am pretty sure my next door neighbor is the Spanish teacher at his school. I should tell her :)
There's this awesome program at Ashley's new school --Spanish Immersion. The whole class is taught full on Spanish and I am amazed hearing the teachers talk to the 1st and 2nd graders. Wish I could've had Ashley in the program.
